PRE-PRODUCTION

Q: What are the best photos to use for my Classic Package Close? Below are suggested photo slideshow options.
Picture 1 - Outside of Practice.
Picture 2 - Front desk/reception area with CA team.
Picture 3 - Dr or Drs in your practice.
Picture 4 - Dr taking a patients' history in your exam room or report area.
Picture 5 - Dr giving a report of findings with x-rays present or tools you used for giving the report.
Picture 6 - Entire office team or Dr adjusting patients
Q: How does my video ending close (personal slideshow ending)?
After the last picture (Picture 6), the video will close with your logo, clinic address, phone number and any contact details you request, such as web site and/or email address.
Q: With the Platinum Package (video close option) what length of video is recommended?
We recommend keeping the length of the video under 60 seconds.
Q: What format and definition can I send in for my video close?
A QuickTime file which will have the extension .mov.
Maximum for videos should be DV HD 1920x1080 16:9 (NTSC/PAL)
Minimum DV SD NTSC 720x480 16:9.
PAL DV 720x576 16:9.
DV = Digital Video.
Q: What is the best resolution to send my photos to Educhiro?
Photos should be of high quality to fit with the high quality production of this video.
Some choose to use a professional photographer.
If the photos are of a poor quality, they may appear pixilated or blurred.
The photos need to be taken with a 5 mega pixel camera to ensure clear photos in finished video.
Minimum quality should be 800x600 or min 300kb.
Q: What resolution should my logo be and what format or file extension?
Minimum of 150kb in a JEPG, TIFF or AI files are the most acceptable.
Q: How do I get my photos to Educhiro for the production of my slideshow ending?

Q: How do I get the photos approved for my DVD?
Email your 6 x suggested photos, logo and contact details to Educhiro via the link above.
Our experienced Educhiro Staff shall author your photos into a timeline
The time line for your slideshow ending, shall be emailed to you for your approval.
Once you have confirmed your personal ending slideshow with Educhiro, your order shall enter production.
Q: Is the video available without customization?
The minimum customization for your BIG IDEA DVD to be released, is your logo watermarked throughout the entire video, closing with your logo and contact details.
The minimum customization for the BIG REPORT OF FINDINGS DVD, is your logo watermarked throughout the entire feature.

PRODUCTION

Q: What does it mean to replicate a DVD?
DVD replication is a physical production process that involves the actual pressing of discs during manufacture, from a glass master.
Guarantees the best quality and playback.
Q: What does it mean to duplicate a DVD?
DVD duplication involves burning standard or special shape DVD-R or DVD+R with a laser, in a standard DVD writer drive
Q: What is a glass master?
A glass master, also referred to as a 'stamper' is used to punch all data pits into a CD or DVD during the process of replication.
It is called a glass master because the information is copied onto a special chemical coating, on a circular block of glass. The block of glass is actually much larger than a CD (they are typically 240mm in diameter and 6mm deep) to facilitate handling and to avoid the sensitive data area from being touched or damaged.
The glass master is polished until it is ultra smooth as even microscopic scratches can affect the quality of the CDs being produced.
Q: What is the difference between replicating and duplicating?
Quality - when a DVD is duplicated it is simply copied ie, the best quality remains with the original. The more it is copied, or copies are copied, the lower the actual quality of the DVD. This can result in a poor quality, poorly made DVD.?
Replication ensures quality. Each DVD is the 'twin' of the glassmaster. DVDs produced in this manner are superior assets.?
Q: Is THE BIG IDEA DVD indexed or chaptered?
Both the THE BIG IDEA and BIG REPORT OF FINDINGS DVDs are indexed and contain chapters.
Q: My DVD won't play on my Mac (OSX)
If you are having trouble playing a DVD in Mac (os 10.1 or higher) you can download the VideoLAN player for Mac. It is free.
The player can be found at http://www.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/0.4.5/macosx/vlc-0.4.5a.dmg.
Check back to the VideoLAN web site once in a while for new free updates.
In addition to this free player, Real's ProOne Superpass player can play DVDs and so will Windows Media 9.
Q: There are parts on the DVD I would like edited out. Can I order it without those parts?
NO - the cost would prohibit that on a one off basis
No changes can be made to the main body of content, only the personalized video ending.
Q. Can I purchase the package and have it in format to play in my office via our computer systems?
Yes, formats for PC, MAC, apple TV and IPod's are all available.

Q: Can I buy just one copy and make copies myself?
NO. It is copyright material.

If you are the principle Dr in each practice, we can close the video with an image of each practice with address and contact details.

Q: How much is shipping & handling for Australia and the United States?
Shipping / Handling is dependant upon the Package ordered and will be quoted on your order form.
We ship internationally via Air Mail services within 6-8 weeks of order confirmation.
Q: What is the estimated time of delivery?
Length of production + postage times usually takes 6-8 weeks from order confirmation.

Q: Can we copy it and give a DVD to our patients to take home, obviously not to copy for other chiropractors. We currently have this arrangement with our other chiropractic marketing DVDs.
All Educhiro products are licensed copyright material.
We cannot authorize the copying of any Educhiro DVDs
Educhiro has designed Packages and re-order prices, so that it is more cost effective to order them professionally replicated and packaged.
The professional packaging and presentation of the DVDs will impact the patients image of the chiropractic office they will be attending.
Ordering this quality product from Educhiro, will cause less stress, less money and less of your valuable CA's time copying inferior DVDs.
Q: I'm a solo practitioner with a small practice. The price and DVD numbers of the smallest package are both out of my range. I thought I'd send you an email to see if there are any other options you might have?

Q: Do I have to pay taxes
GST is applicable to all practices located in Australia. Taxes outside Australia do not apply.
Q: I'm interested in the Big Idea offered on your web site, but I would like to know if there's an option to order via snail mail, phone or some other way, other than online order?

Q: Refunds?
Please ensure that all photos and details submitted are correct as refunds are not available once all information has been proofed and confirmed by you.
Once the glass master process has entered production, no refund is possible. From the time we receive your approval, the manufacturing process begins and no refunds are available. We stress that all details be checked and ensured to be correct before submitting.
Q: Returns/Exchanges?
Defective, damaged, or otherwise unusable DVDs and incorrect shipments are easily returned for an exchange to Educhiro within 30 days of receipt of shipment, with proof of purchase. This does not include cost of return shipping.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing of your return and postage and shipping of replacement DVDs.

Q: Are there any type of refunds available if we choose not to go ahead with the order and we have already paid?
Up until you have approved your photos or video ending, refunds are available.
Once we have received your confirmation of the close for your video, no refund is possible.
Q: Can I buy just a single copy to play in reception?

Q: When I run out of DVD's how much does it cost to get more?

If you alter any of the details from the original order additional charges will apply.
Q: What if I change locations or need to make changes on my DVD, how much will that cost?
Depending upon the changes, re-authoring fees range; please email us: orders@educhiro.com or call for exact re-authoring pricing.
Q: Do you have it in any foreign languages?
We are currently producing subtitled DVDs and eventual dubbed DVDs. We shall update the Educhiro website upon completion.

Q: Can I use this to broadcast on TV such as an infomercial?
Not without written authorization from our head office and Adjustment Productions Pty Ltd. There are broadcasting copyright laws that must be observed, as well as a broadcasting fee.
